LaKia M. Williams

LaKia Williams (she/her) is a full-spectrum birthworker with a focus on birth, abortion, and miscarriage support for birthing and pregnant people.

As a reproductive justice advocate, LaKia is dedicated to empowering and supporting young and first-time moms and parents through their reproductive journey with experience supporting teen moms and survivors of violence. 

LaKia is a dual-trained doula through the Black Women Birthing Justice collective, and Southern Roots Doula Collective.

LaKia is a longstanding advocate for reproductive and birth justice. In 2024, she was selected as a US Delegate to the United Nations' 2024 Global Youth Dialogue of the International Conference on Population and Development in Benin in West Africa as a youth advocate for sexual and reproductive health. 

LaKia serves as an abortion fund board member, and is a member of the Black Women Birthing Justice Collective, and Berekely Free Clinic.
